Young Lions Fiction Awards
2002 Young Lions Fiction Award
The New York Public Library Young Lions Fiction Award is a $10,000 prize for fiction to recognize the work of young authors, to celebrate their accomplishments publicly, and to make a difference in the lives of these artists as they continue to build their careers. The Young Lions Fiction Award will be given each spring to honor a novel or collection of short stories published within the calendar year by an American author age 35 or younger.
